The clinical team at Riverdale Grange Clinic has recently implemented a new 12-week intensive treatment programme for the treatment of Eating Disorders.
The benefits of this new treatment programme are:
- A full and varied programme encompassing a range of therapeutic approaches tailor made to respond to individual needs.
- Flexibility with regard to responding to commitments existing outside the clinical treatment.
- A clear indication as to the expected length of stay with the discharge date arranged on the day of admission.
- The programme is very focused with defined weekly objectives - Best practice recommendations suggest that this enhances motivation and commitment to treatment.
- The cost of treatment is therefore greatly reduced.
Research
The research committee at Riverdale Grange is pleased to announce the subject of their latest research project. The project is due to commence in October and will consider
"The effectiveness of short term inpatient treatment."
This is owing to the fantastic response from professionals regarding the implementation of the new intense 12-week programme, which is proving to be a successful and cost-effective form of treatment.
The clinical team wishes to invite suffers to be included in the research project and is offering reduced treatment costs for NHS patients and individuals wishing to self-fund. For additional information please contact the Clinical Director.
