Mission Statement
Riverdale Grange aims to offer research based medical and therapeutic interventions in order to assist with the recovery of eating disorders. In order to achieve this Riverdale will:
- Employ a staff team whose skill base is conducive to the clinical environment. As the treatment of eating disorders requires specialist knowledge all staff are fully inducted and receive training on all relevant psychological and medical issues.
- The clinical team will be multi disciplinary and will follow a person centred approach working in collaboration with the patient at all times, placing their rights at the forefront of our philosophy of care at all times.
- Our service objectives will be reviewed regularly to ensure that our treatment is in line with current research based interventions such as NICE guidelines and National Service Frameworks.
- We will keep at the forefront of the field by attending conferences, networking with multi agencies such as schools, medical centres and be active participants in research - teaching programmes.
- The most stringent audits and bench marking systems, the results of which are analysed and processed in order to continuously improve or update our service, monitor the effectiveness of our service.
