Charge Nurse

The Post of charge nurse role acts as a support to the Ward Manager and is accountable to the Service Manager. The Charge Nurse will assume day to day responsibility for clinical standards of care within the unit and will assume the duties of the Ward Manager in their absence.

OT Assistant

Reports to: Senior OTA and Lead OT

The position for OTA at Riverdale is for a permanent position, which would involve working across both our adult and adolescent Eating Disorder units. Therefore knowledge of working in both adult and adolescent settings would be preferable, knowledge and experience of working with eating disorders and knowledge of safeguarding issues is also essential.

This role involves working within a multidisciplinary team, providing Occupational Therapy services to both adolescent and adult clients within an inpatient setting. This would involve co-facilitating therapy groups, such as baking, music, goal setting groups. It would involve supporting the Senior OTA in the assessment and implementation of family meals, both here at Riverdale Grange and within the adolescents family home. With training and guidance of the processes and regime of Riverdale Grange there would be opportunity to support clients with self-catering, shopping, meals and snacks out and more general exposure as per the client need on assessment by the OT.

This role would also rely on the applicant being a car driver.

This role is subject to a check by the Disclosure and Barring Service.

RMN Nurses

Full time

We are a provider of specialist mental health services, working closely with the NHS, dedicated to the treatment of females with Eating Disorders.

We provide high quality care within a welcoming and therapeutic environment.

Working with patients on an in-patient, day-patient, or out-patient basis you will contribute to and influence development of the individual treatment programmes.

We are looking for a nurse with strong clinical skills, clear decision-making, good risk assessment skills who will work within a team in a coordinated manner. You must be able to work with ambivalence / resistance in promoting recovery.

You will be expected to assess, plan, implement and evaluate care, be named nurse for identified patients and be confident to manage meetings such as CPA’s /reviews / MDT’s with internal and external multi agencies

Experience of Eating Disorders is desirable or relevant transferable skills i.e. substance misuse.

Salary Circa 28k depending on experience
